Wednesday, Wednesday...
Happy March 1st and Happy Lent to all those who observe the forty days of Lent. It is a meatless day for us Catholics, so I'm trying to be very careful to eat no meat (I always forget one day during the Lenten season and eat it).
My "sacrifice" this year is to change my attitude. Now that might not seem like a sacrifice to most of you, but I have the patience of a gnat most days, so this will be a sacrifice, I most assure you. I just need to grow patience. Please Lord?

The weather has been very nice out, and Matt and I went paper airplane flying yesterday afternoon after school to do work on his science fair project. We got all 25 flights done and recorded, so now, it's a matter of examining data, drawing conclusions, putting the showboard together and writing it up. By the first week in April.
Josh's data is all collected, too, so it's a matter of doing essentially the same thing for his.
Joy.
Somehow, I think the patience I grow during Lent will be severely tried during science fair prep.
I We plan to ice the state cookie tonight -- all that is left is icing it and placing the flags in the appropriate iced landmarks. Watch for pictures. I love to torture my flist show off my our handiwork.
In addition to the cookie project (due Friday), Matt has 3 tests (!) tomorrow and his fraction foto book due Monday.
Josh has a paper to write for Monday and vocab test on Friday in addition to his usual spelling tests this week. He had a verb test today, that he neglected forgot his book for last night. Fortunately, he's my little English whiz. Maybe I should have him pre-beta my stories from now on (well, the G and PG ones).
A friend called me yesterday to meet for lunch, and she's preggers with her first! Yay!! I'm so excited for her! She's due in July.
I hope to write a drabble today. Just because I'm tired of only writing to whinge on my journal. I need to write something creatively.
And internet has been flakey at home. Which is always annoying. *sporks internet*
