Random thoughts for a Friday...
Jan. 13th, 2006 02:21 pmWell, it is Friday the 13th...and it's going okay, for the most part. I think I'm going to cut out about an hour early tonight -- I want to go home and begin working on my house. I need to get some things straightened as I'd like to write tonight, if I get a chance.
It is too bloody hot here today. I never thought I'd say that. It is currently 54 degrees outside, but inside my building? It is 81 degrees. I'm in a turtleneck. And I am dying. And the air only works in the summertime (and I'm not kidding).
I'm so hot I about can't stand it. That's one of the reasons why I might leave early. I have both my windows as wide open as I'm allowed, and it's still too bloody hot here. And that's not good on the equipment. And if I take any more clothing off, it would be obscene.
The meeting with the guidance counselor went okay, but nothing really spectacular. There's really nothing else we can do for Matt at this point, because he is doing well in school. So homework hell continues at my house.
