Hey Susie,

Last week's Time magazine had an article entitled "The Myth of About Homework" that made me think of you - as you so often seem to be buried under homework with your kids.

I went googling and found that it is available on the Time website:
<http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1376208,00.html>

In particular I found interesting the assertion that "homework does not measurably improve academic achievement." In fact, too much homework actually brings diminishing returns.

I also found interesting the news that in some areas, Parents have banded together and forced schools to adopt more sensible (IMHO) homework policies, such as a nightly time limit, no homework over vacations, no Monday tests, etc.
