I'm not sure what happened yesterday, but work was hit with an incredible surge of testing. Not that I mind the job security, but it is usually feast of famine in my job -- either I'm buried or I'm bored. Yesterday, I certainly wasn't bored. Worked from 8:30 until 4:30 almost non-stop (I did take a lunch). I'm glad it hit this week and not last week during inspection time.

I can't believe it...

I'm so lucky, I get to get inspected AGAIN! ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

I got a call from Ohio Dept. of Health -- they pick 5% of the labs each year to re-inspect to make sure that CAP (College of American Pathologists) is doing their job. So, in order to make sure that the CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) regs are being followed, I've been randomly selected to be reinspected.

Don't even ask how I feel about this, because frankly, you don't want to know. I can guarantee you that.
