Preparations....

I am currently preparing both at home and work to be off for 6 weeks. I am having a hysterectomy on June 9th, and will be off work until July 26th. I am hoping to be up and back on the net about a week after the actual surgery. I am going home the day after surgery, and then just spending my time recovering.
Should be interesting with a husband and 4 boys.
I haven't really been on here much for a month. Things have been crazy as I prepare to be off. We bought a new van on Tuesday, and celebrated our 13th wedding anniverary on Monday. We were out of town for the holiday weekend, and I've been having internet troubles at home, that I hope will be resolved soon. I hope to have time tonight to take some pictures of the new van and post them. It is top of the line -- satellite radio, dvd player, leather. It's is really a nice van (if you have to drive a van;o) ).
We've had 2 birthdays -- the youngest turned 4, the oldest turned 11. School ends on the 8th, and we are trying to get the house in order for while I'm down. I've got all the mulching done that I wanted, all the planting done I wanted, now I have to clean the house from top to bottom, or I"ll want to clean while off.
The weather has been iffy at best -- not really warm, and cloudy a lot. I've got the pool going, but we can't get into it. If it doesn't warm soon, it'll be August before we can swim.
I'm doing okay about having surgery, but I am a bit nervous. I know I need to have it done -- I've felt awful for 4 years, so it's time. This should solve most if not all my health issues.
