I wasn't impressed with the PT Cruiser, either. It was the 2nd time I've had a rental from the dealer, and I've had a PTC each time. Very stripped and very basic. I don't like the sightlines either -- the pillars on either side of the rear window were large on the non-convertible too.
And a convertible? In February? Where you live? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The image of you driving around with the top down in February bundled up is quite humourous.

My hubby and I had talked of getting a Cruiser once we were back into cars (we currently have 2 vans), but we probably won't now. Neither one of us was impressed.
