I'm quite surprised, actually...

In other news...

I'm off work today as it's a "Federal Day of Mourning" for President Ford, and since I work at a AFB installation, most of the offices are closed.  So it was kinda nice getting an additional day off in here.

Hope you all had a wonderful New Year and that 2007 is filled with all that you hope for!

Hope you have a loverly 2007. You work at Wright-Patt? Or somewhere else? I teach piano on the base on Monday afternoons. (One family).

And I got a 132! *pumps fist in air* (Had an IE crash, though, so couldn't put it on my own page.)

Yep, I'm at Wright-Patt. I'm a contractor there for UDRI. Since the base is closed, I get the day off, too! Yippee! I was excited, as I'll always take an extra day off!

Do you have to get a visitor's pass each time you go on base to teach piano? That would be a pain!

And you go on the 132!! That's awesome!

We're in the process of getting a "special circumstances" pass, but until that goes through, I either go in once a month to get a monthly visitor's pass, or my students' mom meets me at the gate and drives me in herself. Kind of a pain, but meh. It's money. :)
